Beeg Energy, in partnership with the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), is leading the development of Nigeria's first carbon-financed Institutional Virtual Power Plant (VPP). This partnership marks a bold step toward cleaner, smarter campus energy — replacing diesel generators with integrated solar and battery systems.
To ensure transparency and credibility, the FUOYE VPP is also undergoing registration with Verra, a globally recognized carbon credit registry, enabling official recognition and certification of emissions reductions.
